| Description, including signature and date |
| This bottle has a niddy-noddy with X's on both ends, wound with red and white yarn; the whole thing is tied up in a white satin ribbon. Niddy-noddies were used to wind and measure yarn; once around the winder would be a known length of yarn. A rhyme was ofen said or sung with the winding and counting, usually including a refrain like "Niddy Noddy, Niddy Noddy, Two heads and one body." |
