| 8 1/4" | square bottle, no markings | This bottle contains a beautifully carved figure of Christ on the cross in a scene created with several layers of Victorian cutouts. Jesus is flanked by two saints, and at his feet are two running cupids. The back and both sides of the bottle are covered with more cutouts, mostly flowers, hands, and Valentine sentiments. The front has a window made by a ring of roses topped with a cross, giving the effect of a little shrine. A sticker in the bottom says "Valentine Mauere Pottsville Schuykill County Penna" |
