| This is another bottle with tools by William Anderson of Faribault, Minnesota. The tools are labeled with patriotic expressions, like "God Bless U.S.A." and "W.P.A. Hammer." It is signed on the stopper "William Anderson Faribault Minnesota" and says the tools are NOT made in Nazi Germany. See the other Anderson bottle on this website.
The WPA was a depression-era agency of the federal government that gave jobs to the unemployed. It started as Works Progress Administration but was later changed to Work Projects Administration |
